Not over a day or two prior I was driving by the strip mall, getting nostalgic about those fall hang-out-at-the-shopping plaza shopping days. You know the ones. The enormous Saturday trek to all your favored stores, sacks of sweaters and new jeans and maybe a crazy T-shirt or two, a stop by the Food Court with your mom for a cut of pizza. Those were the days, eh? (Who’s with me?)
Everything considered, I don’t consider the rest of you, yet those days (and Dad’s significant pockets) are away for me, and a crisp out of the plastic new fall wardrobe every year isn’t an option any more. Luckily, there are some basic ways to deal with pass on a part of your pre-summer top picks into fall, and a couple of tricks for making old pieces give off an impression of being new again. Examine on!
